Gluten Free Sponge Cake


  • 350g sponge mix
  • 1/2 cup or 120ml milk
  • 2 tbsp or 30g soft butter
  • 1/3 cup or 80ml sunflower oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp or 5ml vanilla essence

Preparation Instructions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 160°c
  2. Grease the cake tin
  3. Pour contents of bag into mixing bowl
  4. Add butter to the flour mix and mix until butter is well combined
  5. Add milk and eggs and whisk until the batter is creamy, about 4 minutes
  6. Lastly add the oil and vanilla to the batter and whisk for a further 2 minutes
  7. Pour mixed batter into the greased cake tin
  8. Bake for 20 minutes at 160°C
